South Sound Pain Relief Clinic is the Olympia, Washington-based chiropractic clinic of Dr. Michael Neely, dedicated to helping patients get out of pain and back to normal function as quickly as possible. South Sound Pain Relief Clinic is located within Sound Healing Arts Center - an Olympia, WA based multidisciplinary clinic including: Chiropractic, Naturopathic, and East Asian Medicine; Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, and Clinical Nutrition.
Dr. Neely is a chiropractic physician who founded South Sound Pain Relief Clinic in February of 2002 where he maintains his private clinical practice. He started in healthcare doing deep tissue bodywork in 1993, which he later integrated into his chiropractic practice. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Neely is an Adjunct Professor at St. Martin's University, where he teaches Anatomy and Physiology. Dr. Neely also teaches continuing education seminars in anatomy, physiology, pathology, and advanced bodywork theory through Dr. Neely Seminars. In 2010, Dr. Neely was appointed to the Industrial Insurance Chiropractic Advisory Committee for Washingtons State, where he continues to work as a consultant with the committee writing evidence based practice resources for the physical medicine field. He is also the former Director of Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology for the Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy and Massage from 2002-2009.

Dr. Nutter is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida. While there, he gained experience with the Palmer Package of adjusting, and obtained extra training in Thompson technique for low force adjustment. He also co-founded a Clinical Nutrition club, with a purpose of helping to further integrate nutrition into practice.
These experiences have given him knowledge to address long term, positive weight changes and lifestyle modification, ensuring access to a healthy, active life. Further, he is certified through Function Movement Systems to perform movement analysis, giving depth to his assessment of patient conditions and treatment options.
Dr. Nutter looks forward to using manual methods, functional movement principles, and nutrition to help his patients find new levels of healthy living. There’s a great big world out there – let’s go explore and enjoy it!
